If it's time to sneak away to the North GA mountains for a spell, consider this super cute cabin, tucked away in the woods and set atop a gentle knoll. Cross the furnished porch and step through the front door into a well-equipped kitchen all ready to help you whip up your favorite recipes. Nearby, relax in the open great room featuring all wood floors, heart pine walls and ceilings, two distinct, fully-furnished living areas, a gas fireplace, and a 50', wall-mounted flatscreen TV. And step out to the screened-in, furnished deck where you can enjoy the sights and sounds of the surrounding forest.

This secluded property is bordered by a couple gentle ravines and a creek if you want to wander a bit close to home. Less than five miles south, discover Tallulah Gorge State Park where you can explore almost 3,000 acres of wilderness. Black Rock Mountain State Park is less than 15 miles north, while a number of local wineries are within a short, scenic drive from your door.

Beautiful cabin, poor housekeeping person.
The cabin was beautiful and well cared for. All of the amenities are readily available and plentiful.The only disturbing portion of our stay was directly related to the cleanliness of the kitchen and living area of the cabin. We arrived shortly after the check-in time of 4pm. The cleaning person was still present on site and finishing up her cleaning. We waited about 5-10 minutes, and she was done. We entered the property and started doing what everyone does, investigating and looking around the cabin. We immediately noticed the floors in the kitchen were not adequately cleaned and had crumbs and other materials on the floor and on the carpet under the kitchen table and on the chairs around the table. We also noticed dried remnants of soup or something of that nature on the counter tops. Upon looking in the living area, we noticed quite a buildup of dust/dust bunnies under tables and the tv stand. I also noticed an old light stick that had been pushed under the tv stand. There were pieces of puzzles at various locations on the floor in the living area. The final piece was the difficulty getting the gas fireplace to work. I finally got it to work for one day. The next day it would not light at all. Gas was on and I followed all of the instructions. Although these items are concerning, I feel the cabin itself, and the property were beautiful but, unfortunately, fell prey to a poor housekeeper.

Celebrating us
My wife and I had a wonderful time! We both wanted time for us and our mini schnauzers. Perfect place! We enjoyed some hiking at Warwoman management area. We also took the Bronco on some trails. We had a blast. The cabin was wonderful! It was very quiet even though there were neighbors. WiFi was not working but who needs it…lol. We loved it! Thanks for sharing!

Very quiet in the woods
Well we had no internet or cable all week. Not home owners fault but made for a very long week. They offered to move us but to a regular home so we unplugged. Our dogs loved the woods and we loved the quiet. Cute cabin. Glad we didn’t bring any grandchildren that would have been a disaster.

Quaint Cabin
We rented the cabin as place to relax when not at Rabun Arena. The cabin is well furnished, easy to get to and well kept. It was very clean and well taken care of. Realistically it was a nice cabin that had a couple of shortfalls. For example they have a smart tv in the living room/family room but the internet was not capable of streaming any services so watching any tv to relax was out of the question. They do have a blu-ray player or DVD type player set up but we didn't not bring any movies with us. The master bedroom had a very small, very dated tv with a built-in dvd player but again we had no dvd's and there was no other type of entertainment offered such as cable or satellite tv. So just know if you're wanting to relax and watch a show or movie you better bring it with you. Fortunately we were only there in the evenings and it wasn't too big a deal to be without tv for two nights. The deck is nice and well furnished as well. Overall I'd stay again as the TV is not a deal breaker for our family Also I must mention the beds were very comfortable which was nice.

No football on Thanksgiving
You are unable to get live TV at this location. So we were unable to watch any of the football games on Thanksgiving. Overall the cabin was clean and well stocked and we had a good time hiking with our 2 dogs.

Not happy
I left some clothes in the tall dresser in the primary bedroom. I reported it to Vacasa 6 hours after I checked out. They told me they would contact lost and found and send the items to me. I checked out on the 18th. Today is the 29th. Nobody has contacted me and I still do not have my belongings.

Lives up to its pictures!
We rent a lot and rarely do they live up to the pictures, this property does. Clean and so cozy! This property was so well equipped with everything you need as far as bathrooms, kitchen, and grilling. It is also a pretty secluded property so it’s nice and quiet. We will be back!!

Refrigerator Doesn’t work, cobwebs everywhere
The refrigerator didn’t work, there were cobwebs in every lamp, there were bugs in the kitchen, there was a spider in our bed, the ceiling fan had one speed which was highest speed and sounded like a helicopter all night, there are mouse trap houses in every room including the bedrooms. I paid an extraordinary amount for 5 nights, I only stayed one night and it still cost me right at an arm and a leg! Never again - what a rip off

We stayed 5 nights at Tranquility Place. The cabin was named perfectly because it is very peaceful, relaxing and quiet here. We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin had everything we needed and then some! We would definitely stay here again.

Charming cabin in a good location
This cabin is nice and has cute bear decorations throughout. My young children were delighted by these thoughtful additions. The cabin is the perfect size for a small family or small group of friends. The screened-in porch is lovely and was a very relaxing place to spend time. The kitchen is a nice size as well. There is also a huge TV with many online streaming options, which was nice when we needed some entertainment. The cabin is located in a central location only 10 minutes from Talulah Gorge and 15-20 minutes from wineries and Black Mountain. Overall, the cabin is well-stocked and had just about everything you could need, including board games, spices, and even coffee filters (BYO coffee). You can tell that the owners at one time spent a lot of time here making it cozy. However, as what usually happens with rental properties, there are some serious maintenance issues that need addressing. I emailed the company who manages the property to report these issues. I will gladly change my overall rating of the property and cleanliness if these issues are resolved. Note: The neighbor’s German shepherd dog is very friendly but is not leashed and spent a lot of time on the front porch and around the property.

Great mountain getaway
The cabin exceeded our expectations. It is warm, cozy and has anything you could require. We did a two night getaway in the mountains and enjoyed the peace and quite. The owners have done a great job of decorating and maintaining the property. I wish we could have access to an identical property at every vacation spot we visit.

Girls weekend!
Awesome girls getaway for my sister and me! The cabin was PERFECT and had everything one could possibly need for a weekend away. Close proximity to so many hiking trails, wineries, Tallulah Gorge State Park, etc. We will definitely rent here again! Clean, cozy, well-stocked kitchen, beautiful porch! Loved it!
