Pleasant Stay on the Farm
We took a family girls’ trip to see the Daniel experience at Sight & Sound Theater, and this Chateau was a great spot for us to stay while in Leola. Close to all the sightseeing we could do, we also enjoy being greeted by the farm cat and dog, Gracie. We took a stroll in the vegetable garden, and we walked down to Fox Meadows Creamery. It was a quiet neighborhood, and we felt safe, even though it was right on Main St. The house had all the amenities we needed and was very clean and comfortable. It even had everything we needed to make most of our meals onsite. We recommend staying at this sweet getaway.

Pet friendly and conveniently located
The apartment was the perfect size for for our family of four and our dog. The kitchen was well appointed for cooking a few meals at home to save some money. The bathroom is large and well laid out. If you're looking for ice cream, check out Fox Meadows creamery, a short walk away or drive a few minutes to Hayloft ice cream. At Hayloft, you can feed ducks and fish in the adjacent pond. Achenbachs bakery, just down the road, has some good long johns.

The place was immaculate and had everything we could ever think of needing. After having several leas the appealing stops the last several days, we quickly fell in love with this place. We didn’t want to leave. We will definitely plan to stay here again in the future.

Simple and relaxing
I am someone whose life revolves around schedules and timing and sales and a lot of moving parts. It was such a relief to come out to this area and be 20 minutes from pretty much every place we wanted to go. We all loved the slow pace and the ability to just sit and enjoy the quiet as a family. This property has no TV and poor cell service which is ideal for us to spend time with our small children and focus on them and their sense of wonder and play. We were able to focus on our children which in a family trip should be top priority. The family was generous and hospitable and our children got along great with theirs. Very much recommend. This property.

We enjoyed the weekend celebrating our anniversary here. The home was well stocked from the kitchen to the bedrooms as well as the bathroom. The home is immaculate and beautifully decorated. Excellent Lancaster Area Stay
Quaint, tidy unit, easy access to Lancaster Pa and all the area events, Green Dragon, Sight and Sound Theater, American Music Theater, Outlet Malls, Strasburg Train, both the Toy Train and Pa large train museums and plenty of restaurants. The Gingrich family that run the place are very pleasant and easy to work with, no issues during our stay. Highly recommend staying here and we would stay here again.

Clean cozy small house, well supplied, quiet
A lovely 2 bedroom small cottage, very clean, and well supplied. There is no television but we could care less. We went shopping, sight seeing, enjoyed driving around the countryside to see the clean huge Amish and Mennonite farms. We played games and just relaxed. Would definitely return.

Perfect for a relaxing girls’ trip
My bestie and I wanted to do something fun instead of moping around on Valentine’s Day so we went for a quick weekend trip out of Philly. The house was super clean, well-stocked, and inviting. The host family is so friendly too, and Hannah was ready to be super helpful ahead of and during the trip. As a tall woman though, my dreams were fulfilled by the claw foot tub. It’s so rare that I can actually stretch out my legs and relax in a bath, and I swear they have a magical hot water heater because between the two of us alternating, it never ran out. We both brought our dogs and while there’s not a fenced in area for them, it was easy enough to walk around the neighborhood. All in all, I totally recommend this rental for anyone looking to unplug for a little while and just enjoy the area.

Comfortable, cozy cottage
This was a comfortable, cozy, well stocked guest house, nicely decorated in a cottage style with beautiful quilts on the beds. We spent most of the time visiting with family and the guest house was conveniently located. We brought our dog and found some nice areas to walk nearby. And speaking of walking, the guest house is within easy walking distance of Fox Meadows Creamery! The Gingrichs were lovely hosts and we especially enjoyed our conversations with Timothy!

Perfect weekend!
Everything was clean, beds comfortable and kitchen well stocked. This is my second stay with this family and we hope to do it again when in the area. They even sent their young son over in the morning with breakfast goodies!

Lovely and clean cottage
The Gingrich family were welcoming and accommodating to our needs. The cottage was clean and offered all the amenities we needed, plus ot is a 10 minute drive to Lancaster and many stores, shops, and places to eat. We were there for the weekend for our niece’s wedding at the Inn at Leola Village which was a beautiful venue. Quiet, even though right off Main Street, beds were comfortable, great bathroom with a stand up shower and amazing soaker tub with bath salts plus other supplied conveniences. Our stay was perfect, and we enjoyed it down to the comfortable rockers on the front porch! Our dogs only stayed a shoet time, but they were even welcomed with plenty of yard to walk them to go potty. Highly recommend!

A Quiet Beauty
We enjoyed our stay, but we did miss having a TV for the morning news and to unwind a bit before bed at night. Luckily, we had a speaker for our cell phones to play music and there was ample Wi-Fi for gaming. We would like to suggest an outdoor motion light in the back lot for making it easier to take the dog out before bed. Overall the home was lovely and in a wonderful location. The rental family was a joy and were very thoughtful -even supplying Fall flavored coffee!
