« Log Haven was a perfect place for us, our two grown children with spouses and our grand puppy! Often, there are 3 bedrooms but one room will have twin beds and that doesn’t fit our family. Great living area for everyone to spread out and to cook in. Since we were there for Christmas, it was so nice to come and see a Christmas tree which rarely happens! Thank you! »

The kitchen had all appliances, silverware, plates, pots that one might need and the location was close to a lot of good hiking and the VIC. It was great to have the kayaks and dock on the property -- Lake Clear Outlet is very peaceful without a lot of houses and the current/wind is more manageable than when you kayak on a big lake. « This was a nice location (close to lake placid town) with a few minor problems. There was construction going on next door which was not disclosed prior to renting the property. The construction was unfortunately very disruptive to our stay. The lake is great and would have been very peaceful but there was loud banging and hammers next door. « We stayed for 3 nights in January. Two adults and one teen - so we had tons of space in this four bedroom cottage. It was a nice place for us to use as a base to get to the Adirondacks. Note that there is no longer a hot tub, which we only found about after selecting this place. Hopefully the owner updates the listing in case that is important to you. There were some tricky things with the door lock, but Cathy helped solve this over the phone. Otherwise its a cute, clean, and comfortable home....
