"you’re looking for a place to explore Italy, this is not the place. It’s quiet, quaint, and far from the city center. If you choose to stay, you’re approximately 22 miles and 45 minutes from the city center and airport. I’d highly recommend a rental car. While the campground has activities, they have activities on designated days (e.g. - there is a tour of Chianti Wineries on Tuesdays, a cooking class on Mondays, tours to Pisa or Rome (on a certain day) etc.). "Nice quiet spot in the woods but very close to San Gimignano. Very clean. Comfortable beds. They don’t provide towels or soaps, but that is clear up front. You can rent towels if you want and they sell soap/ shampoo in the office. "

"This property is 45min bus ride from the city center of Florence. Originally when i booked it (being a tourist from Canada) things seemed close. This shouldn't you discourage you from booking as it is a beautiful campground with a pool, restaurant, minimarket, playground and more. Our trip was tight on time so the hour bus ride to and from this accommodation (to get to city of Florence) isn't ideal for all. It should not stop you from booking but rather information to be known about. "

"The cabin was clean and pleasant. The village was quiet and full of trees. The pool was clean and nice, though cold in June. The view is incredible. When arriving and departing, be certain you know when the free shuttle (which is a car for 4 guests) is scheduled. It has a fixed schedule, and the buses from Fiesole may not match your schedule either. If not, you must walk up inclined streets 20 min or down, when departing. The reception is friendly.
