« Shadowlawn is an experience - just what I was looking for. I wanted to immerse myself in the South and its culture. The B&B is filled with eye candy, including in the guest rooms. Burnette has an incredible collection of antiques and an elegant touch. She couldn't have been more hospitable, and provided delicious and unique breakfasts every morning. I look forward to many more visits. I highly recommend it. »

« Checkin was very welcoming and easy. I knew this was an older hotel (built in 1925), so keeping that in mind, the features were antique with the time period. We stayed in a king Cabana room and it reminded me of my grandmas house. It was quaint. Bathroom tiny. The bed was comfy, nice towels and the room was clean. Would stay here again. »

« Room very nice, had a lot of room for myself, wife and mom. The water in shower took a long time to warm up, but other than that, everything was fine. Renovating was going on, but hotel did notify me before my stay. »

« The worst place I've ever stayed - rooms smell like cigarettes, disgusting, black marks from smoke above the bed - requested non-smoking, went to ask to change the room, I was told I'm lying, I'm the 1st ever complaining, they offered me a airfreshener - which was just lysol disinfection, had to go to dollar general to buy my own shower stuff(no soap, no shampoo), the front desk dude which this is the worst - brought us towels with pubic hair inside them, I had to go to the front desk, showed...
