« A very charmingly furnished holiday home. Very well equipped kitchen, nice living room and cosy bedrooms. Everything was pleasant. The location is great if you don't need a parking space right in front of the door. You have to park your car in one of the nearby paid parking spaces. Mousehole is an old and very picturuesque village that can't accomodate cars. Out of season there is also free parking on the road along the coast to Newlyn, but this is a bit of a walk, about 5-10...

« Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Haus ist gemütlich und hat einen schönen kleinen Innenhof. Das einzige Manko ist, dass es im Badezimmer praktisch keine Ablage gibt. Die Lage ist sehr günstig, auch wenn man ohne Auto unterwegs ist. Wir haben auch viele gute Tipps für Unternehmungen und Restaurants bekommen, was sehr hilfreich war. Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt in der Fischerhütte sehr schön. »

« As travelers from Australia, we decided on a self contained old worker's cottage as a change from the ordinary motels. We were not disappointed. Although small ( or compact ), the house came with the mod cons we required. Whether summer holidaying or like us, travelling about Cornwall, the house is central to beaches, shops, transport and restaurants and tourist spots. »

« We really enjoyed our stay. The views are stunning and the cottage is very well equipped. The decking is a lovely sun trap and the garden is private. We had a small dog and , whilst the garden is mostly fenced, we kept her on a really long lead as there were some gaps she could have slipped through. The cottage was very clean and Simon, our host, was super helpful and responsive with any queries. Mousehole has some fantastic restaurants, 2 Fore Street being our favourite. Well worth a visit if...

« This lovely cottage is located in the small village Treen, just a short walk from the coastline. We enjoyed very much to stay there for a week, having excellent weather conditions. It is very handy to buy eggs and milk from the farmer next door and also very nice cakes and cookes in the village cafe. »

« The cottage is excellent, clean, convenient and has everything you will need. Penryn is quiet, so it’s a trip in to Truro or Falmouth for entertainment, but the buses are excellent. A great place to stay and explore Cornwall. »

« Such a peaceful spot. We had breakfast outside each morning while listening to the birds and then spotted constellations in the properly dark night sky. The cottage was well equipped with lots of quirky details, just as the name suggests and the location was perfect for us - handy for visiting family. The welcome was really warm, too. It would be lovely to return one day. »

« The cottage absolutely delivered! The cottage and the grounds are immaculately kept. If you're looking for an inviting base of operations for your time in west Cornwall, you'll be hard-pressed to find better. The hosts are very accommodating and friendly, and some of our best evenings were spent just enjoying the silence after a long day of adventures. »

« We 4 adults spent 6 nights and found the apartment delightful for our needs. The third floor bedrooms with many steps could be daunting. The ground floor has a cozy sitting room and kitchen area, however the closest loo is on the first floor. The showers were particularly nice with plenty of warm water. The area is quiet and proximity of restaurants is close. There are many walking trails with spectacular vistas. »

« Good location and great if you are travelling to area with out a car. Flat was clean and comfortable but with a little attention to detail could easily be elevated to a really good flat. Entrance needs a good clean and paint and better street signage on the door. Shower very temperamental, scalding hot or freezing cold. Outside area could be easily do with a bit of attention. Seems as if the owner has lost heart and passion in this lovely little flat. »
