Great communication--maybe not the best choice for senior travelers
First of all, Tanja is great with communications. She answered all my questions promptly and was always very positive and accommodating. The location is fine--especially if you know how to use city buses.
The upstairs is bright, the kitchen is fully functional with most of what you would need (it could use some wine glasses), and the bathrooms are very good by European standards.
While this apartment is pretty accurately represented in the photos, there were a couple of surprises when we arrived. The first thing is that one of the bedrooms does not have a door--only a curtain. So if you are two couples, one couple doesn't have alot of privacy.
The other thing is the living room furniture is just not what it should be for a nice apartment. The sofa is extremely uncomfortable (for someone my age) as it sits very low to the ground. Further, I usually don't rent apartments unless they have comfortable seating in the living room for the number of people who will be staying there. The space devoted to living/lounging in this apartment is very limited and too much of it has been used to accommodate a very large coffee table as well as a large dining table. So there isn't enough space to provide a comfortable conversation area in the living room for 4 people. Our group of 4 ended up sitting around the kitchen table when we were together in the apartment. With more comfortable seating (for 4) in the living room I would give this apartment 5 stars.
