« We are a family of 5 and we found this place a bit small. It is also located on a main busy street. Great if you plan on just sleeping there. No dishtowels left for us, two rolls of TP for a 5 days stay (more provide d on request) and not enough garbage bags We've been staying at this type of place (4 total) and some hosts just know how to provide the items to make your stay easier. « The Land Yacht was spacious, comfortable, well furnished and had a great view of the bay especially from the solarium. The kitchen had everything you would need and then some. Our pluses included kayaking, bicycling and swimming in the pool and the bay. Bring your bikes and snorkeling gear. « The house was in a wonderful location. There was a fire pit and we built a fire each night. We made somores and watched the crackling. We were able to relax and enjoy the view, which is what we came for. »

« Great house. Some of the furniture needs changing like the dining room chairs that are very wobbly.3 bedrooms in basement are only doubles so like my son and his wife that are bigger people they had to sleep separately. All in all there was a great view and it was worth the prixe. »

« This property is definitely a 10 plus property and Neil and Karen are the sweetest people. They check in with us on our day of arrival and when we were not going to arrive until after 10:30 pm. She left the lights on for us and texted us Along the way to be sure we were okay. The house is beautiful and we wish we could have stayed longer and used the kayaks that they had. We loved the hot tub. Highly recommend this property »

« Our group of four just stayed for a week in August and had an incredible time at this property! We found everything to be true to the listing if not better, and the stunning views from multiple directions made our stay even more memorable. We were able to explore a great deal of the surrounding areas thanks to the central location, with short hops to nearby Lunenburg, Mahone Bay, Peggy's Cove, Chester, and of course Halifax and other great destinations.
