Wonderful stay
We had a very nice stay at opossum bay. The view from the front was amazing. Bed was very comfortable and the whole layout was good. The only negative is: that it would be good if a handrail was installed for pathway to the property. Overall we had a lovely time

Cute little house with reasonably steep descend to the house. Amazing views. Single beds are suited for children more than adults. Overall a good place to stay. Very neat & tidy

Enjoyed our stay. Steep stairs were a bit difficult due to poor fitness but we were told in advance and agreed so can’t complain. The view made up for that. So relaxing watching and listening to the waves.

Fab waterfront old school shack
Unbelievable water frontage with incredible sunset views looking back at Mt Wellington. The walks on Gellibrand Reserve take you to the first whaling station in Australia. We ate fresh flathead caught off the beach and watched a seal playing in Opussum Bay.

Short stay
5 nights on the beach. Location is super, and for the price, the accommodation is great; clean and has everything you need for a self contained place. It gets very sunny in the afternoon so aircon comes in handy after a stroll along the beach. Steve was very responsive and helpful. Check in was a breeze. Thanks!

Wonderful property with the beach literally outside the door, very clean and well appointed, it felt cozy and welcoming. We booked very last minute and the owner really went to extraordinary lengths to ensure all was ready for our arrival. Highly recommended.

The second time we have stayed at this great little property, and once again it delivered the goods. Steve is easy and great to deal with and the little cottage is perfect for a relaxing getaway. Positioned absolute beachfront, you can’t beat the location. Would recommend highly.

Small old time shack
Being right on the beach and a full view of the bay is a gift. Economical. Most shacks/homes on OBay have steep steps at some point. The steps from road to this shack to unpack were hard work. A challenge for older adults and young children.
