« A very cozy home for the two of us in a quiet area NW of town. Beautiful water view. We enjoyed the art, read up in it and visited the local gallery. This was our first time here while staying on land versus cruise ship so we got to really see the full extent of everything Juneau has to offer. We were even lucky enough to see a bear with 3 cubs walk across the road only a few miles past the house on the Glacier Hwy on our end- of -the -road drive. »

« Host was great - communicated well. Had homemade cookies and muffins ready for us. He was very helpful with transportation options when we had flight delays. Appreciated recommendations on places to eat and things to do. Property was clean, cozy and just what we needed. View of the bay and covered back porch was amazing - would have liked to spend more evenings sitting outside enjoying the fire pit overlooking the water. Watching the birds in the morning was lovely. »

« Amazing property! Everything that we could have wanted! Bed and pillows were comfortable. It was such a nice treat to fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the waves. Such an amazing property that exceed our expectations. If we ever make it back to Sitka, I would love to stay here again! »

« This home on Japonski Island is a short walk into Sitka. It was amazing! Along with the constant views of beautiful Alaska out the walls of windows, this home is sparkly clean. Amenities are organized and plentiful. We were so comfortable that it was hard to leave! The owner was easy to contact and helpful. This property will not disappoint. « The property was very private and quiet. My cell service was non existent (Verizon) but once we found the place Joel the owner was great. The covered walkway to the cabin entrance was great especially when it started to rain. The place was cozy and comfortable to come back to after a long day of hunting. If I get back to POW I would definitely stay there again. »

« The place was perfect for 2 people. We spent a lot of time in the afternoons out on the deck watching people from the cruise ships. Location was great. Easy walk to downtown. A bit more challenging coming back, but you can get a cab to bring you back up the hill. Would definitely stay here again. »

« Four of us stayed to celebrate my 50th. The views were stunning and the house was spotless! We are happy we rented a car to get back & forth to town. The kitchen had absolutely everything you could need for a family meal. The host even provided coffee & snacks upon our arrival. Don’t hesitate-totally worth it! »

Out only disappointment was that they couldn’t find someone in Juneau to repair the out of commission hot tub. »
