The location is perfect as it's right on Pine Creek and the rail trail. It's such a beautiful and peaceful area. We appreciated all of the amenities provided by the host, especially the firewood. « Cottage is comfotable and clean, the river is a short walk through the woods, outdoor space includes a deck, 3 season room, hot tub, and fire ring. Very nice. Kitchen is well equipped, however skimpily stocked. No sugar, aluminum foil, basic spices? Even the salt shakers were empty. A starter bundle of fire wood would have been appreciated. »

« Property was cute and cozy. Right on the water. Well appointed kitchen with great cookware. Bathroom was spacious. Very nice washer and dryer which was great because it rained heavily one day. Immaculately clean, beyond beautiful, so comfortable, the perfect lake, husband loved the fishing, used the kayak and paddleboat, and did all the trails! « Everything was fine except, only a 5 cup coffee maker, short on pots and pans(bring your own), no tea pot for boiling water, and they should inform the renters that there are camera's outside not pointing at the doors but actually watching you while you are in the back yard. I understand security but I thought that would be on the doors not in the back and front yards. Felt like we had no privacy while outside. »

« The Rivers Edge was perfect for my mom, my sister and me. My brother and sister-in-law were next door in John’s other rental. We were in the area for a celebration of life for my uncle. We had plenty of room. The house was so cozy. The views from the living room and deck are amazing. « The location is amazing, as is the host. The downside is how outdated and under maintained the house is. The site says infers it is recently updated but that’s just a new floor (poor quality) and new countertops. The screen doors on the sliding door are broke, huge cobwebs in the top of the ceiling, the basement screen door is held closed with a rock, the laundry is creepy, etc. The trees are overgrown, and no drapes for privacy in the second property.
