They should probably let the customer know that they are in the middle of a farm with dog, cows and roosters making noises and the smells. Otherwise a good experience.

Recent stay
Clean, family atmosphere, livestock and chickens are sometimes noisy but we made friends with them. Only thing missing was a small table for meals. Overall a good stay.

The perfect ‘farmette’!
My husband and I returned to this cute cottage with our two grandkids, age 11 and 6. They love the farm setting with native chickens, a couple horses and goats not to mention the awesome trampoline, the highlight! The host is quite accommodating, and we hope to return again 😊

Home Away From Home
It was a central location for our activities. It was a perfect cottage for hubby and I. Very clean and lots of electrical appliances. The TV is a brand that we could access our favorite channels. The owners were great and very responsive.

Comfortable stay
We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the hospitality of the owners. The place was comfortably cool on a very hot day and the amenities of the refrigerator as well as a washer and dryer was utilized. When our granddaughters heard that there were cows, a cat, horses and chickens on the property, one of the owner’s daughters was kind enough to introduce them to the animals.

Great stay!
The property was easy to locate, accessible convenient. We enjoyed waking to the crow of a rooster and taking a quick look around to find several cowa and horses. The casita is efficient and clean. We would certainly book again.

We loved our stay but recognize that it wouldn't be right for everyone. We loved feeding parings from fruits and vegetables to the horses, cattle and chixkens. But animals poop and that smells. We lived hearing the animals noises but that might be annoying to others. Our bed was excellent but it was inconvenient to have no table and chairs. The sofa was poor but we loved the small washer and dryer. We loved being allowed to metal detect and the Internet service was flawless. We would book again

Unique getaway!
We had a wonderful time here! The host and his family were so welcoming to us and our 2 grandchildren who always wanted to visit, age 5 and 10. If you want to have a different experience than the 'typica', come here! Our last visit with VRBO in AZ was a little home, our grandkids called it a 'cassita'. They called this place a 'farmita'! We live in Illinois but sadly our awesome grandkids live in AZ, so we'll be back and hope to stay here again...

Inside/Outside Disappointment
We looked forward to our stay in the Gilbert casita for 6 nights and visiting attractions around Phoenix. I called the property owner about an hour after we arrived. I requested he call me as soon as possible. He didn't respond for 2 days. His text said to let him know if we needed any thing more. By that time, I was pretty disgusted with his response and the condition of the property. Whoever cleaned the interior for us did a poor job on the bath sink, tub, & throw rug. The inside of the refrigerator was not very clean and the top was filthy with a dust scum and small foam particles blown out of the inverter mounted over the fridge. The closets in the bedroom & LR had unnecessary junk stored in them taking up valuable storage space. This is an overpriced bare bones existence with no coffee maker, no wall decorations, no dish drainer, no area info, and a poorly equipped kitchen. A portable, unused AC unit was using lots of space in the laundry room. The couch was lumpy & uncomfortable, as were the hard, wooden stools. After 4 nights I was in severe pain in my lower back from sleeping on the bed mattress. We left to stay in a hotel the final 2 nights. My back has taken a full week to recuperate, along with a visit to a chiropractor. The bull in his small pen 5 feet from the bedroom/LR windows bleated for about 30 minutes every night to be fed. The neighbor dog barking most of the night, every night was also annoying. This was not a place we could enjoy sitting around inside or out.

Nice place!
It’s not a fancy place to stay, but it was clean and met our needs. The hosts kept in contact with us , making sure we had everything we needed. The location was great! It was nice to have a country feel in the city!

Great people, budget stay
The casita is private and clean, albeit a bit beat up: furniture was stained/burn holes, rolled toward center and head of bed, old shower, fridge and washer/dryer. All worked though. The owner was friendly, communication was great. They are clearly working on main house: yard etc in disarray. Host suggestion: noise canceling fan we borrowed from family helped to drown out cows, rooster, and kids playing. Great location to where we needed to be.

There were 2 things that caught are eye was 1 that there was alot of construction going on at the residence 2 the heat in the apartment didn't heat up the the apartment.But overall it was a pretty good place to stay.I will stay again when I'm in town

Budget friendly ranch/farm environment in a nice neighborhood
If in your past you lived on a farm or ranch, this casita will bring back fond memories. There are horses, a pony, some cattle, chickens, cats, and rabbits right outside your door. We used to own a ranch in AZ and it was nice to be near animals again. Additionally this was a great location to visit friends and relatives in the east valley. We could get to Gilbert, Chandler, Queen Creek, and San Tan Valley very easily. The hosts were friendly and the cottage was spacious enough for the two of us, plenty of hot water, quiet, and had a comfortable bed. I slept well, which I usually can't do for the first 2-3 nights in a new place. There was a washer/dryer, hair dryer, iron and board, which my wife appreciated. Internet streaming bandwidth was > 100 Mbps, best I've seen for a rental in quite some time. Bring your Fire-TV or Roku stick, or use the one supplied by the hosts. As the rental was new to VRBO, I think we were only the 3rd renter, the amenities were a bit on the light side. I would expect the hosts to improve that over time via feedback and requests from renters. The hosts also had some major home expansion projects in the works. So there was a bit of disarray from the construction project. So don't expect a perfectly neat and tidy yard. All in all it was a great base camp for our daily outings to the surrounding areas, and the price was very affordable. We saved enough compared to using a regular hotel/motel to cover the cost of a rental car for the week. We would rent again on a future visit to AZ if the casita is available!

Comfy Cottage!
My 6 day stay at The Cottage was absolutely lovely. It came at a time when I needed privacy and peace. Everything had a clean, new feel to it! It had the warmth of being home… Just the escape I needed! Thank you Adam!!
