« I love how unique our experience was from checking in reading the adorable welcome note (from the dog), to the nice size room and the history inside is fabulous. We loved our bartender, Parker, at the tavern inside. The food, drinks and atmosphere were fantastic! »

« We couldn't have asked for a more Amazing experience. The Shepherds Cottage exceeded our expectations. We fell in love and wanted to stay longer. Kay and Les are wonderful hosts and offered their assistance. We made beautiful memories that will last a lifetime. From the kids playing board games, puzzles, running around the pond, playing football, watching the sheep, playing with the dogs and chickens. And fishing for the first time. We will definitely be back. »

« We had such an awesome week! It was everything we hoped it would be! The cabin is a good 8-10 minute drive from the road (the first gate) to the 2nd gate so take that time into consideration when venturing out because GPS doesn't factor it in. Our kids had a ball catching (and releasing) trout, creek walking, and just being lazy in the cabin. We also saw a family of wild turkey on the drive down from the house. Highly recommend and hope to enjoy this cabin again some time. »

« This was the perfect property for our long weekend trip to Charlotte. We wanted a place to stay that would accommodate My wife and I, and 2 youngest kids (now adults) to host a Thanksgiving dinner to include our oldest daughter who now lives in Charlotte. We also had her boyfriend and 4 of his family join us. The house has a very open concept layout, with a nice kitchen, a large island that made prep and presentation of apps and dinner easy, dining area adjacent to kitchen, and a large living...
