Le magazine Sunset nous a honorés du prix Small Space, Big Dreams Home Award, et nous en avons pris connaissance dans le numéro de septembre 2014. En outre, Portland Monthly Magazine a souligné le chalet dans leur série sur frais maisons d'hôtes comme «un excellent endroit respectueux de l'environnement pour vous cacher tout à Portland. Dans le quartier historique Addition de Ladd SE Portland et à quelques minutes de marche de la nouvelle ligne restaurant sur la division St. Une alternative idéale à un hôtel du centre-ville étouffant, cette maison au design moderne et confortable, est située dans l'un des quartiers les plus branchés du sud-est, à proximité du centre-ville, des transports en commun et d'un rangée de restaurant. ~~ S'il vous plaît noter que les frais de nettoyage de 60 $ est due à l'enregistrement, en espèces ~~ Ville de Portland ASTR Permit # 14-207831-HO

Le chalet est situé à l'arrière du terrain du propriétaire et regorge de commodités telles que planchers chauffants, puits de lumière dans toutes les chambres, télévision par câble, wifi, ventilateur de plafond, cuisine équipée avec cuisinière à gaz, four et lave-vaisselle.

La chambre a classique, blonde meubles Heywood Wakefield 1950. 100% des draps et des serviettes de coton; ainsi que le shampooing, revitalisant et Dr. la menthe poivrée savon de Bronner sont fournis dans la douche élégant. Nous sommes parfait pour un ou deux ou un couple, et jusqu'à deux membres de la famille ou des amis peuvent être facilement logés pour dormir dans le salon sur un canapé qui devient un lit, fait plus confortable avec un topper de mousse de mémoire. (Un enfant de moins de 2 ans sans frais supplémentaires.)

Le chalet a obtenu une certification de platine Green Building Avantage Terre pour l'utilisation de pratiques de construction innovantes pour réduire la dépendance aux énergies non renouvelables. Un rack pour les chaussures est fourni afin qu'ils peuvent être laissés à l'extérieur en été et juste à l'intérieur en hiver.

Il y a deux entrées à la maison - un de la rue avec le stationnement sur rue et un autre accessibles par l'allée. Le patio privé avec des sièges et une table est tout à vous avec un auvent rayé à l'abri de la chaleur du soleil en été.

L'ajout de Ladd a un «score de marche 'de 92 - parfait pour se promener dans les jardins de roses ou d'utiliser la piste cyclable à proximité pour se déplacer dans la ville. Funky blvd aubépine. La frontière nord de Ladd est avec la Division culinaire riche St. Au sud, gagne en importance pour sa croissance et de la scène de restaurant innovant et de magasins uniques. À proximité clinton st.s bars et cafés ainsi que des restaurants complètent pourquoi cette région vous atterrit au cœur de ce qui fait portland uniques - petits restaurants, boutiques, un cinéma indépendant et les entreprises one-of-a-kind pour le shopping. Nous sommes un pâté de maisons de l'aire de jeux pour enfants.

Cute cottage in GREAT location
The Eco Cottage was perfect for our couple’s getaway. Ladd’s Addition neighborhood was a pleasant surprise. Quiet neighborhood with food, drinks, & shopping all within a couple minutes walk. Cottage was simple, but had everything we needed for our stay.

Oh my gosh, I loved Susan’s spot so much. It felt incredibly homey and well kept. It was walking distance from a ton of sweet restaurants and shops. Susan was absolutely lovely. I would absolutely go back in a heartbeat.

My favorite place to stay in Portland
I love love this place! I've stayed here twice now and will be back in October. It's adorable, quiet, safe, and in walking distance to plenty of yummy places to eat. Perfect sanctuary during a visit here.

I adored this place and wanted to take it home with me! The sky lights are devine and the place itself is super cozy as well as a visual delight. Situated in a great neighborhood within walking distance to endless culinary possibilities. The owner, Susan, is very responsive and welcoming.

Getaway in a great location!
I have visited Portland many times but never spent any time in Ladd's Addition, and it was so cool! A little funky with all the one way streets but you are surrounded by parks, rose gardens, and easy walk through beautiful tree-lined neighborhoods to coffee, restaurants, etc. The place is comfortable and was nice to have fans and good windows to help it cool down at night. Easy communicating with Susan and the lovely to be in a place thinking from an eco-friendly perspective, we would stay here again!

This was my first time visiting Portland and the Eco Cottage is inspired living. It’s clean, beautiful, eco friendly, and perfectly walkable to so many restaurants and shops. It’s also a short drive away to do some hiking and see waterfalls and other spectacular views!

Fantastic location with a market, restaraunts, shops, food cart pods, and even a comedy club in walking distance. Host was attentive and checked in regularly, made us feel very welcome. Will look for availability again whenever we come back to Portland.

The perfect location for the perfect cottage
From start to finish this cottage has everything you will need to make your stay even better. Available compost and recycling was a big plus for us and the reusable grocery bags susan leaves to use where great when we made trips to the local grocery stores ans shops all within walkimg distance. You really couldnt ask for a better location to have as your starting point to see the city! We highly suggest this eco cottage and cant wait to plan our next trip there !

Were in town to see friends and check out some restaurants and wineries. Love the neighborhood and being central to all of Portland. Was a very comfortable place to stay and hosts were very welcoming, but also had total privacy. Highly recommend.

Perfect spot, perfect location
The owner has put in thought and work to create a lovely space that feels like a secret garden in the heart of Portland. There are so many great restaurants that are walkable and the neighborhood layout is so unique. The location was perfect for staging day trips to Mt. Hood or Cannon Beach, while still being able to enjoy the city. She was great and communication and quick to respond to anything we needed. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Portland.

Fantastic place and the location is perfect
We stayed at the Eco Cottage and we loved it. The location was perfect, especially when driving out to different locations outside of Portland, and even to the airport. The cottage had pretty much all you need, including extras like extension cords and extra iPhone charging cables. We really did not use the kitchen much but it has everything you need if you plan on cooking. The AC unit was used a few times as it was warm on a few nights. I would recommend everyone to stay here, as the location made going to different places to eat very walkable, and a nice perk was restaurant suggestions which did require a short drive. This cottage is in a neighbourhood called Ladds Addition, and it is massive, but with so many places to eat in all directions. Exploring the neighbourhood was fun as well meeting local residents who helped guide us to cool places to check out like Cartopia and Hawthorne Asylum. Thank you Susan for being a perfect host. When we come back to Portland, we will book your place again.

Sweet city retreat
A wonderful space. Very clean and so very chic. We loved supporting an eco conscious owner. Great location. Beautiful neighborhood. Easy walk to market, restaurants, and transit. The only thing different from listing was we expected the couch to fold out and have a foam topper and bedding. Easy fix. Bedding brought over. Wonderful stay .

Just perfect!
My husband and I really appreciated this cozy little home away from home. PDX Cottage has all the amenities a person could need plus it is located in the prettiest, walkable neighborhood. It was super clean, private and comfortable. Susan was a thoughtful and attentive host. We highly recommend staying here. I hope we get to return someday!

Everything I needed and more!
I’m from Georgia and booked my first ever solo trip to Oregon. I found the eco cottage and figured it was in a nice central spot for exploring, and I was right! Being a girl by herself, I was anxious about privacy and feeling safe. There was never a moment that I felt unsafe at or near the cottage. It was equipped with anything you may need. I’m very grateful I found this place as a part of my journey. Will be back :)

My personal pied-a-terre!
Great private location that allowed for walking to the neighborhood market, several restaurants, coffee shops and bars. The cottage was quiet, very clean, well appointed, and had all the amenities needed. The radiant heat is wonderful! I am considering this my 'home away from home' when visiting Portland in the future. I will definitely stay here again!

This was our second stay to the EcoCottage and it doesn’t disappoint! Our long weekend was nice and quiet, private, comfortable and enjoyable. The Mid Century Modern decor and style adds to the vibe of the stay. We loved walking the neighborhood and eating at local restaurants nearby. Susan was so helpful and made sure we were taken care of throughout our visit. We will definitely be back again!
