« Loved the cabin and the owner. Great deck with grill and lights. Close to Mt Rogers and Grayson Highlands. Very quiet and dark sky at night for star gazing. »

« This cute little farmhouse takes you back in time. Property was very clean and there was plenty of room for our dog to run around. It is rustic but worked well for our family of 5. »

« Visited w our LARGE family and stayed for a wedding that was local in the area. Had a wonderful stay, had most of the family (even those not staying in the house with us) out for grilling and hanging in the yard - mostly an impromptu family reunion that was awesome! »

« This was the second time my family has stayed here. We thoroughly enjoyed it again. It’s a charming old but well maintained farmhouse with a comfortable wrap-around porch in a quiet, remote location. The main street of the small town of Sparta is about 15 minutes away. Highly recommend »

« Such a wonderful respite from our busy lives. Perfect setting , great home, so much fun tubing in the New River which is close by and enjoying the fire out and outdoor space and porches. Plenty of towels and supplies. Home is very clean and well kept. »

« This is a great place tucked into rural NC. We stayed on a clear, pleasant night in September and the stars were amazing! The host made arrangements for an odd the check in time for out party. We really enjoyed the fact that it was built in the 1890s and but had been updated for some modern conveniences. »

« Overall simple and clean cabin in the woods. Good communication from the host. The listing accurately depicts the cabin interior. The bed was comfortable, nice linens, and very clean. Like some others mentioned, it was a bit close to the neighbors so if you want total privacy its not the place for you. But we lucked out and the place was pretty empty. My only suggestions would be to add a picnic table (or something) on the large deck for outdoor dining (there is a table, no chairs). Also the...
