This home (25 minutes from downtown Ouray) has granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances, comfortable living spaces with spectacular views, a wood fireplace, an outdoor dining area, and flat-screen TVs. Our home has breathtaking views of the Cimarron and Sneffel's mountain ranges and outdoor space with a gas BBQ grill and mountain-inspired outdoor furniture. It is the perfect retreat to bask in the cool mountain air and create a base camp for all of your mountain adventures.

This home comprises two separate living spaces -- a 4 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom main house, and a 2 bedroom/1.5 bath apartment. Each living space includes a fully furnished kitchen and living room with a flat-screen TV, making this home perfect for multiple families who desire their own space. The apartment features elevated views from the private wrap-around deck. There's a trail (for residents/guests only) out the back door that meanders several miles throughout the entire Log Hill Village area and offers amazing views. There are two parking spaces in the garage and plenty of additional parking available in the driveway in front of the home.

The home is pet friendly (2 pet max), and the pet fee is $40/day (Max $250).

4WD/AWD is strongly recommended in winter (September through May).

ABOUT THE AREA
Nestled at nearly 8,000 feet, Log Hill Mesa, CO offers year-round outdoor activities and has everything you could want during your Colorado mountain vacation any time of year! In the spring, summer, and fall months visitors enjoy exploring, riding ATVs, hiking, biking, rock climbing, horseback riding excursions, and fishing. You'll love the summer music series in Ouray's Fellin Park or music in Ridgway's Park! In the winter months bring your snowshoes, ice climbing gear, or Nordic skis and enjoy downhill skiing in Telluride, a scenic 60-minute drive from Ouray and Ridgway! Ice climbing at the world-famous Ouray Ice Park boasts more than 150 named ice and mixed climbs, spanning almost 2 miles of the Uncompahgre Gorge. After a day of adventure enjoy a variety of great local restaurants, breweries, distilleries, live entertainment venues, and the ever-popular Ouray Hot Springs.

Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

Amazing views
We all very much enjoyed our stay here. There was plenty of room for 10 adults. The house was spotless on arrival. It is beautiful and the location is away from the noise of town. It is a little bit of a trek to get to from town but we didn’t mind. This rental actually does have enough dishes and seating room for the amount of people that it hosts, which was a really nice surprise. The biggest downside was that none of the patio furniture was actually on the patio when we arrived as in the picture.

The Best Mountain House with a View!
This house was amazing, we had 4 couples staying here to SxS in Ouray! It was a great size so everyone had plenty of room with an extra large kitchen! Beautifully updated and very comfortable! The parking was great with a big circle drive that held all our trucks & trailers with SxS’s, easy in & out! The View was incredible, you felt like you were on top of the world, so enjoyable for morning coffee & evening sunsets! We will definitely recommend this property for this area!

We loved everything, but if you need 5 enclosed bedrooms, there are only 4, the fifth is an open area, that is the only reason for the 4 star rating, very good communication with the owners.

A view of a lifetime.
The complete panoramic view of the San Juans was absolutely spectacular. The house had every amenity imaginable. Very comfortable for a family gathering. Very central with great access to Telluride, Ouray, Silverton, Durango and more. I will be back.

The view!
This property is amazingly beautiful! Huge kitchen perfect for our large group. The view was breathtaking! Staying at this home was a highlight of our trip. Be aware that two of the beds in the loft area require climbing a ladder, which might be difficult for some people and maybe unsafe for small children. We arrived at the cabin after a long day of travel to a warm house because of lack of air conditioning, but after we got fans going and windows open it was comfortable. There is also a trail that connects right behind the home overlooking the town of Ridgway and mountains behind it. I hope I get to stay here again someday! I would highly recommend this property!

This place was amazing. The house was spacious with plenty of bathrooms. Spectacular views out all the windows, beautiful snow-covered mountains, from the back patio you could see the town below and the lights at night. Lots of trails in the subdivision and houses are spaced far apart with trees to give you privacy. Our family pet got out the door and went missing. Several neighbors went out looking for him with us. We were so relieved to find him. The people in this neighborhood are great. What a great place to be.

Spacious Property with Beautiful View
We stayed at this property for our local wedding and had a great stay. The lack of air conditioning during a heat wave was rough, but the property had plenty of fans to help make this bearable. The view in the pictures looks even better in person, and the property is well-maintained overall (besides a rough-looking table/chairs on the deck that isn't usable). The location is very accessible in any vehicle and close enough to the nearby towns/airports to make errands and pickups not much of a hassle. We did try to contact the property manager to ask how something functioned but didn't receive a response. The price point is great for the quality. Definitely recommend!

We enjoyed the house! The only problem we had was the 2nd house was posted as a 2nd bedroom but it is only a bed in an open area, no door! But everything else was great! The kitchen was fully stocked! We will rent this house again!

Beautiful place, fantastic views. This property had everything we would have wanted or needed. We were a group of 4 couples and one single and no one was disappointed. It was a great central location for us to visit Durango, Silverton, Montrose, Telluride, etc and we did them all including Colorado National Park near Grand Junction. What a gem that was ! The road up to the house was interesting but it posed no problem and we were on Motorcycles. The inside parking was much appreciated.

This rental blew all expectations out of the water. We were in the area for our wedding and it had the perfect views, a great location, and accommodated everything we needed. The house was so spacious and allowed everyone to have their own space, which was very nice. Highly recommend!

Beautiful location and cozy community areas. The mountain breeze was fabulous and it would be nice if some of the windows were not spray foamed closed. There is NO A/C and the condo side got a bit stuffy with 85°F in june. We loved how most rooms had access to their own bathrooms♡

Home away from home
It was our 4th stay with family from 3 states joining. We love the spacious living arrangement and stunning views. Perfect for multiple generations, relaxing, hiking, and fishing. The only complaint is a super complex television system that takes an IT genius to navigate. We just needed news and sports for our 80 year old dad. Besides that, it’s clean, comfortable, and a beautiful property.

The pictures don’t do the views justice. The back patio has views of the most beautiful mountains in Colorado. The house and the apartment were very nice, They both were clean and well furnished. They are very specious and comfortable. We would definitely rent this home again,

Beautiful Property, oven in main house wasn't working but there were plenty of appliances to be able to cook, including small oven in apartment. Location was difficult to get to on the bad weather day but would have been no problem with 4x4. Plenty of space and loved the views and wildlife!!

Spectacular overlook BUT!
- Cleaning crew did a poor job, sheets were dirty, found a piece of underwear/short in the apartment done bed plus stains in all the beds (have not seen like this even before COVID hits) - Trash container in the garage was dirty and filled with flies that were trapped inside and once we opened it to put the trash bags they flew out - View: was unbelievably awesome. - Location: is good despite a little bit of dirt road to get to the village but not bad at all. - Hot indoors and definitely needs an AC or a swamp cooler - Bathrooms are not as good as they look on the pictures - Apartment is outdated in all disciplines. - Kitchen is great - Garages are big and very nice (despite finding a mouse there) - Size/occupancy is great but unfortunately not very well maintained but the management company - Beds are uncomfortable - Luckily we have brought our bedding and towels so we did not have to use what they have there - Maintenance number did not respond to my phone call but the property manager did via email and text then offered to come the second day for the fridge but we have figured it out by then. I would recommend this property if they just use a better cleaning services and upkeep the house a little bit more.

Location location location.
This is the perfect spot to explore the whole area of Ouray, Telluride, and Ridgway. Easy drives to each place. What can’t be beat is the view. Your favorite will be sitting outside in the comfortable seating and looking at the mountains. Plenty of room and bathrooms for all. Beautiful home overall. I would suggest bringing everything you need to cook in regards to spices and staples. Some dishes are limited also, but it still works to make meals in the awesome kitchen. Great place to stay.

Spacious, amazing views
Lovely house, but a few funky spaces. The smaller apartment area has 2 bedrooms- sort of. Bedroom 1 is normal with a bed and full bathroom. “Bedoom” 2 is connected to bedroom 1, with a separate half bath. From bedroom 1 you have to walk through bedroom 2 to get to the kitchen/living room, and there is not a door separating bedroom 2 from the living area. It was not clear when scrolling through the pictures of the property. In the larger section of the house the kitchen and living room are fantastic! The loft with 2 beds does not provide much in the way of privacy. The downstairs master suite really has 2 full bathrooms attached to it-2 toilets, one shower and one bath tub separate from the shower. We really enjoyed our stay in the house, and luckily are close enough friends to make the funky, not very private spaces work.

Literally our only negative comment is that the house/apartment was not very clean. There were cobwebs everywhere, the bathrooms weren't very clean either. Other than that though this place was a perfect getaway to host five families for Christmas.
