« We loved the location, and it's was fun to visit with the animals. Wish we were able to sample some of the chicken eggs. There is a bit of deferred maintenance, some water damage in the kitchen. Would also have been great if there was a hair dryer available, especially as the weather gets colder. All in all a fun stay at a farm with a great location. »

« 5 stars plus. Perfect for our family to celebrate Thanksgiving together. The home was very comfortable and very well appointed. The surrounding property was picturesque. I absolutely loved having hiking right out the back door. Loved this property and being able to bring our corgi was a huge bonus. and will return. »

« We gathered for Thanksgiving and the house was perfect. Comfortable beds and bedding and a huge space to all be together. The fire pit and yard games were so much fun. We walked around the beautiful property and went into Charlottesville for the day. Great location would highly recommend. »

« The house and property were beautiful. My husband got to fish a few times in the river. We walked on the property a lot. Communication was great with Glen. He was very quick to respond to problems. « I can’t say enough about how perfect our stay was! The owners were extremely communicative and helpful. The house was on a stunning secluded piece of land outside Charlottesville and offered incredible views. The house was very well appointed and they certainly thought of everything. « I got very lucky and ended up with 2 nights in this beautiful get-away. I originally booked it for a High School reunion for me and 3 girl friends. « Our stay in this historic countryside farmhouse was wonderful! This old house is so charming and quirky. The house has plenty of seating, eating space, bedrooms and we loved the coffee bar setup. The land is beautiful and so peaceful. We enjoyed walking the farm, watching the cows and listening to the stream. There is so much to do outside with the firepit area, basketball/tennis court, ladder ball, cornhole, etc. We really enjoyed our three days there. Ian was a terrific host...responding...

« My wife Teresa and I have been staying here for 11 years now. Every year for the last eleven years we have stayed the last week of Oct. The view is incredible. It never gets old. Something else that is very important to my wife and I is that the foyer door is only about 15 feet from the parking lot and its a flat walkway. Also, once in the foyer, its literally 2 steps to the stairs which are only 9 stairs. Most condos at Wintergreen are a hike just getting to the front door of the unit. Not...
