« The house was fantastic. Very well equipped and the younger boys loved the bunk bed room (especially the tv in their room). The town centre is easily accessible from the house and so is open walking space. Lovely beaches within easy reach and breakfast or lunch at the Guardhouse Café on Berry Head is a must. The owner was great. Fantastic communication and a lovely selection of goodies on arrival. Highly recommended this property. »

« Great location. Lovely accommodation, with all bedrooms great size, lounge large and bright, and a massive dining table. Kitchen had everything you could need, and more crocks than seen anywhere else. All very clean and tidy. A very comfortable home from home for a family holiday including toddlers and dogs. Would definitely think about going back. Our first time to the Salcombe area, which we really enjoyed, both Salcombe and the spectacular surrounding coastline and villages. »

« Perfect property for our family holiday. Ideal size and didn't feel like we were ever ontop of each other, apart from maybe in the kitchen. The walk up amd down the hill was a but much for both mithers in their 70's. »

« What can we say other than “absolutely fabulous “. The house is amazing with beautiful views and facilities. Every bedroom is a good size so no one felt disadvantaged . The pool is perfect and beautifully warm . A big advantage is the local pub where we enjoyed a wonderful Sunday Roast . We felt very privileged to stay here and will visit again . »

« Amazing location, amazing house and huge dining table so we could all break bread together! Lovely amenities and washer and dryer were a dream. Only recommendation would be to add hairdryers (at least one) and games or books, at least playing cards. Beautiful stay and highly recommend Torquay Watersports for coastal explorer -90 min. »

« The lodging is perfect. Bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, sitting room, really perfect, nothing to say. The place is located in a very secluded country side area with zero traffic on the very small road. Good qulity communal playground. A few miles from beaches, Dartmouth, Salcombe, etc. a sailors paradise. »

« We had the most fantastic time, the house is just perfect, has everything you need and more, although no parking, we found it easy to unload and park the car in a back street at the top of the steps. The house is so central, that once the car is parked, you can walk everywhere or get the bus for the bus station, which we did to Dartmouth. Is this property is available you should run not walk to book it up. »

« The sea views from the cottage are amazing (including watching the seals) - Hope Cove is a charming coastal village. We're glad we went out of holiday season though as traffic and the tiny roads must be a struggle in season. Great to have our own parking outside Starboard. The village seems to be largely second homes/holiday cottages but its picturesque. We recommend 'The Cove' for food, coffee etc. The cottage has character and was spacious for us 2 - high ceilings/large mirrors helped that. ...

« The property was excellent. Thanks for the goodies. My criticism would be gaining access and finding property. When driving it was difficult to find the property. A photo of front door would be helpful. The instructions for access could have been better by stating the ‘Lock box’ for the key to the apartment was outside the property by the front door. The lock box was also temperamental and difficult. Perhaps change the box and locate it by the door of the apartment. »
