« Situated in an excellent location with lots to do around you. Cottage was warm and cosy and everything you could possibly need was there, the welcome hamper was great and thankfully we didn’t need to find a shop for the essentials as it was all there. quick response from the owners when needed, would highly recommend and can’t wait to go back. »

« We stayed for four nights in June and were delighted with the facilities provided. One king size bedroom, one double bedroom and a small room suitable for a child (we brought our own crib for the baby). Small details like the stair gate and a few toys helped too. The patio furniture was well used as we had glorious weather. Staplecross is well placed for exploring Rye. Hastings, local vineyards and National Trust properties. We would like to return next year! »

« In a grand old house overlooking the flatlands to the sea, with a view of miles. First impressions: huge. Second: who’s having which room (they all were en-suite so it didn’t really matter). Third - I want a bookcase like that one! We loved the first floor reading book as much as the sun room sofa. This was an easy stay in central Rye. A bit of a faff with two cars to park and repark - but parking is so inexpensive, we could park for 24 hours for less than it costs for an hour at home. The...

« From the first moment it was perfect. The very warm welcome was amazing. Wir wurden mit einem tollen Blumenstrauß empfangen. Ein selbstgebackenes Brot stand beteit, sowie selbstgemachte Marmelade. Milch stand im Kühlschrank. Tee und Kaffee waren auch vorhanden. Das ganze Haus hat uns mit seinem Charme empfangen. Wir kommen wieder!!!! »

« Firstly I need to say how wonderful Jim and Anita were and how welcoming they made us all feel. The location of Honey Pot Farm is stunning with views to take your breath away. The town of Hythe is a mere 10min drive and well worth a visit. We will most defiantly be going back 10/10 »

« This house was great for what we needed (group of girlfriends getting together). We loved the sunroom on the first floor and even got to sit outside in the gorgeous garden. The location is perfect and there is heaps of space. My only comment is that the bathrooms probably need a bit of updating, but apart from that would definitely recommend. »
