« It's the perfect cozy place for two for Thanksgiving. The indoor fireplace has plenty of firewood, and the outdoor firepit has a grill plate, perfect for making smores. We started our mornings having coffee in the hot tub. We will stay here again! »

« My friends and I stayed here recently while in town for our college reunion. The location can’t be beat- easy access to downtown Lexington, W&L, VMI, the Chessie Trail, etc. We will be back! »

« Very adequate and clean for small group. 2 bathroom's would be a plus. Nice and cozy. Was a great choice for our anniversary getaway. Highly reccomend this house. »

« We arrived in the rainy, pitch dark in December. We are 2 city girls so we were not used to this and a bit freaked out at first at how isolated it felt. But in the morning we were in awe of the beauty outside. We didn’t get to take advantage of the deck/firepit, but all the amenities inside were on point. Very comfy. Great communication too. If you’re not a fan of driving at night and arrive after dark, make sure you have all your eating/drinking necessities. The roads are a little daunting in...

« What a lovely and comfortable cottage! »

« We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. We were 15-20 minutes away from lots of breweries and outdoor dining places yet felt like we were staying in the country. Enjoyed the hot tub and basketball hoop and the fire pit was ready for us when we arrived. Our little dog was welcomed and enjoyed the yard too. Great communication with the owner. There is some noise from the train and road nearby but it did not bother us. »

« Overall pleased with this location. Peaceful and quiet. Not so far out that you couldn’t arrange for some meals at some nice restaurants. Never physically spoke with anyone and booked through VRBO. The cottage was nice but could use a new couch. Wood stove sauna was a hit! »

« Enjoyed our stay and appreciated the convenience while visiting our DD who could not travel home for Thanksgiving. Didn’t realize the beds were doubles so something to note if you’re used to sleeping in a King size bed. »

« This cottage is so cute and it fit the four of us just right. Very comfortable beds, lots of pillows and nice living room furniture. There are great views of the mountains and big fields with cows on the other side of the fence. You felt like you were far away from the ruckus of everyday life. It was bright and cheery with beautiful wall paper and lots of windows. A hot tub and screened porch was also there to enjoy. We had a wonderful time and will go back again. »

« For us it was a nice, relaxing getaway from the daily hustle and bustle of city life. The charming cottage offered us a peaceful retreat with stunning views. Our host Fern was an angel, she answered our every queries promptly, she greeted us in person despite arriving late at night, checked back with us the following day!! The refrigerator and pantry were fully stocked, and the place was so thoughtfully and tastefully furnished. We'll definitely be back!! »
