Yearly Vacation
We stay here every year. Lori and Becky are ao helpful and phone call away. We enjoy being on the river and relaxing by the fire at night. The house is close to restaurants and the grocery store. We look forward to staying again next year.

Poorly maintained property
This property is poorly maintained. Note that this home is lived in by the owner when not rented out. Fridge and freezer have lots of owners food as well as all cabinet shelves are full of food. Crammed in, not appealing. Ice maker to fridge does not work. All the furniture is heavily worn. There is no place for luggage except on one of the couches or beds. There are no tables to put things except for a 3 seated table for eating that looks over the river. Side tables that are in rooms are cluttered with the owners knick knacks, again not appealing. No place to hang jackets because any hooks that are there have the owners coats and jackets hanging. You have about 2 foot of closet space to hang your clothes All of the tables in the house are crammed with the owners personal “stuff” The rugs in the kitchen are threadbare and can easily be slipped on. We rolled them us as we almost tripped on them several times. The sponge is the sink looks awful. Probably has not been replaced in months. We would not use it. 3 washcloths. The Christmas tree is still up in the living room. The coffee pot lid is broken and I would not use some of the cookware due to pans being caked with old food and grease. Please note the pictures of the outside of the property were probably taken when the property was listed. The yard and surrounding area have not seen a weed eater since. The property manager calls this “natural”,if so, the pictures on VRBO should show the property in its “natural” state.

Nice two night stay
Beautiful location on the rio grande river. And cabin has nice windows to enjoy the setting. We were floating the river for two days fishing so only spent the evenings at the cabin. Enjoyed the stay. Had everything advertised. We had no contact with a manager before arrival or on departure, but it wasn't needed as checkin/ checkout procedures were on the website

Very nice cabin in a good location
We enjoyed our stay very much. Hot tub was nice as we had some cold ski days. The cabin is very spacious. There were a couple of minor issues like burnt out bulb and broken window cranks. It definitely has a family feel, with lots of themed decorations.

We have a new destination! :-)
We had never gone south for our annual bday trip for our boys. We decided to give it a shot. We were so happy with our visit. The home was very clean and the view was fabulous! Plenty of places to sleep. It seemed like every sofa was either a pull out or so dang comfy, I slept on one instead of the bed just because I fell asleep during a movie and didn't budge. Our house manager was great! The crock pot was cracked and she didn't hesitate to bring another and some supplies that were needed (dish soap and paper towels) when we ran out. She even went back and found the missing back of snow gear (in the trash...thanks mom lol) and held it for us. The homeowner was extremely communicative especially when we were driving through a blizzard to make it and unsure of our arrival. I can say enough about the two of them. If I HAD to pick a negative...its hard.... the only thing I can think of is if you bring little ones, it is right on the river as it shows in the pictures so be prepared to keep an eye on them. My kids are teens so I wasn't concerned at all. The river was frozen over (I think) and made for a beautiful sunset, but now we also want to see it flowing so will be back this summer! Thank you so much Lori and Becky! 5 stars all the way!

The house was exactly as advertised and exactly what I was looking for. The family loved it. The river was beautiful. On our last night my wife and I were riverside in the Adirondack chairs, we saw a bear swim to our side of the river up near the golf course. Beautiful!

The Beauty of River Dance
The cabin is warm, inviting, and cozy. The beds are so comfortable and the bedding is perfect. I never sleep well when I travel and I slept like a baby the entire time we were there. Perhaps the sound of the flowing river helped with that. The cabin stayed cool with the windows open at night and we stayed in the middle of July. The views are spectacular. Being able to walk out the back door and have the running river in front of you does something for the soul. We spent plenty of time enjoying the space and couldn’t have asked for a better location. The town itself is special. People are kind and patient even though their sweet town is full of tourists. There are plenty of outdoor activities to participate in but having the able to lay out in the grass at the cabin and watch the water takes the cake! Communication with the property manager is easy, we had no problems whatsoever with the booking, check-in, or check-out. We will definitely be back, River Dance is a small slice of heaven on earth.

This is a terrific property with excellent location to several summertime activities. If the cleaners did a little better job around baseboard, where electronics need to plug in, it would qualify as outstanding in all aspects. We took advantage of the hiking, rail-biking, and catch-and-release trout fishing right out the back door.

Great spot right on the Rio Grande! View from inside on the couches was great, too. Very relaxing. Good location for anything you want to do in South Fork area. We went hiking, rafting, Revolution Railroad and the Last Chance Mine on Batchelor Loop up in the mountains around Creede. Great time for us all. Always nice to come back to the house for meals and hanging out. The kids had a great time upstairs dancing and playing video games at night. They also enjoyed sleeping all in the same space. Would do it all again!

Even Better Than The Listing!
We've been staying in South Fork, CO for almost 20 years and this was the best place we've stayed for our annual ski trip to the area. The cabin was cozy, well-stocked, and just right for every thing we needed and wanted. The River Room with the fireplace and glass windows was the best place to wake up with a warm cup of coffee and a great place to wind down at night with a book. Will definitely stay again next year!

Close to everything with a Hot Tub
We really enjoyed our stay in the River Dance House! Skiing was minutes away and the weather was perfect. Relaxing in the Hot tub every day and playing in the snow was perfect. The house was well laid out and the heated floors were a delight. Thank you for making our vacation the best!

We have been going to ski Wold creek for 20 years and this is by far the most amazing house we stayed in. This was our 3rd year there at Riverdance. Not only is it breath taking views next to the river but the owner Lori and manager Elizabeth are 2 of the best people in the world. I hope we never have to stay in another house again.
