Fern Spring Cabin

Welcome to our cabin. As you move down the driveway, you will see stone walls, and rock landscaping. The cabin is nestled among the trees. The atmosphere we have attempted to create is one of peace and solitude. Solitude is refreshing; an opportunity to renew ourselves. Solitude helps us to appreciate things in life that we may have taken for granted; the friends, the past, memories.

We invite you to enjoy our wrap around porch, view nature at its best. Sit around the fire ring and relax. Indoor furnishings include furniture and kitchen cabinets made from Grandpa's barn. Feel free to take a walk on our cow-path road, and see our truly Amish country setting.

If eating out and shopping are on your list, East Main Kitchen in Baltic (10 minutes away) will satisfy your appetite. Sugarcreek, home of the world's largest cuckoo clock is fifteen minutes away. Berlin (30 minutes ) will allow you to shop till you drop.

Short stay
We arrived this lovely cabin ready to enjoy a few days of peace and quiet. It is just lovely and so very clean. Unfortunately, just a few hours later we were called home. In our haste to repack and leave, I walked off and left my wedding ring. Paul, very kindly, mailed it to me; I was so thankful. We are hoping to go back one day. It is so peaceful there, and I’m sure we would enjoy it very much.

Such a beautiful home! Had everything we needed and extremely clean! Enjoyed having coffee on deck in mornings and watching the wildlife. The only disappointment was the hot tub was extremely cloudy the first two days. Seemed to have lotions or oils settled on top. By day three, it cleared up some. We will definitely stay again!

My husband and I and another couple came to relax and celebrate our anniversaries. This cabin was absolutely stunning. It was spotless and very comfortable. They provided all the necessities and the porch and landscaping was amazing,ing.We hope to stay again in the fall.

Perfect little retreat
We were searching for a quiet little getaway with friends, and this cabin was perfect! There were deer in the yard and tons of birds everywhere! We thoroughly enjoyed the wraparound porch/deck! It was the perfect spot to drink coffee, read a book, and talk about life! We ventured out to do some shopping and visit a couple restaurants. The wifi was strong inside the cabin if we needed it! Highly recommend this beautiful retreat!

Sisters weekend getaway

Perfect Peaceful Getaway
Wow! Just wow. This property and home seemed absolutely brand new! Everything was super clean, easy to find, very quiet and cozy! It was the perfect getaway for a mom and son, disconnecting (no TV was a good thing!) and just talking and playing games. Walking around the property a bit we found the porch swing and then the string lights to the fire pit was just such a nice touch! We loved everything about this place and cannot wait to return!

Perfect stay!
If you are looking for a nice cabin for a family getaway this is it! The cabin is PERFECT! It has fantastic outdoor seating which we loved! My little Yorkie even loved staying here. It’s very clean inside…you can’t even tell that it is a pet friendly cabin…I can’t say that for any other place I’ve stayed. It’s a nice secluded setting but only 4-5 minutes to the town of Baltic and about 15 minutes to Walnut Creek. I can’t wait to stay here again!

Impressive, clean, well decorated cabin. No road noise, no problems. As advertised, it is a serene & peaceful setting. No TV to distract, but good cell coverage for contact with the outside world. Fully equipped kitchen plus outdoor grill, fire pit, and hot tub. We will come back!

Close enough, but out of the way
The property and home were beautiful, private, just the right touches and it was super clean! It was a great jumping off point for excursions into the countryside, East Main Diner in Baltic was great place to eat. Everything you needed to cook a meal in the kitchen and grill( it was in the upper 90’s so we skipped that ) but my absolute favorite was sitting on the wonderful deck in the morning with my coffee listening to the amazing array of birds! Lovely place to stay great price it was a nice getaway for two but would have held four.

The house and property were immaculate, well stocked with everything we needed and super cozy !! We did a little shopping, dining, and just enjoyed playing cards. We roasted hot dogs on the fire. The bird songs were amazing ! Would definitely love to go back , PP
