« As of April 2025 construction means you have to walk 5mins outside to get to the on-site restaraunt. Unfortunately it was a windy/heavy rain day during our stay and this was tough. That said, hospitality was top notch. The food was tasty, and the train museum is free and *right there*. Which was a fun surprise for our toddler. Price per night feels steep for the area ($400 after the $20 resort fee added at check-in). I expect to pay that much in big cities or at Spas... But with good weather...

« I booked this house almost a year ago to celebrate my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. First, the good stuff: The location is beautiful. Our kids loved the sandy beach, and when there are waves you can swim because there are no jellyfish. When it's calm, beware! We had many jellyfish stings the first day.
