We booked this hotel mainly due to EV charging is part of hotel amenities. When we arrived on Friday night, we were told the EV needed to be activated but the front desk didn’t have the key to activate except the manager. That was a ridiculous excuse. The front desk told us she would let the manger know. We even remind the front desk one more time before bed. Unfortunately, our car didn’t get charged on Friday night. On Saturday morning, there was another front desk and we told her our car needed to be charged. This time the front desk just easily took the key to activate for us. And she is not even the manager, which makes us think the activation doesn’t need the manager and all the front desk has the access to the key. That was not end of the story. We went out on Saturday and came back around 5:30pm. There was the same front desk on Friday night. We told her the car needed to be charged. She gave different excuse this time: she was not allowed to go out without manager around. Give the fact, the front desk in the morning shift just easily took the key to activate for us. The services from night time shift front desk was not acceptable. The main problem is I don’t even see any details saying the EV charging need to be activated before using from the Expedia app I used to book this hotel. If I knew the facts/excuses from night time shift front desk, I wouldn’t bother to book this hotel. I never encountered this kind of issues when booking hotels with EV charging stations.
