« The stay was just perfect. We came with our own boat and it was easy to navigate to the house. The dock was 30 yards from the front door so easy to get out supplies to the house. (We did make use of the golf cart 😊). Neighbors are so friendly and they let us use their phone to call our family to let them know we arrived. Our cell phones did not work as it is a bit remote. « The house is beautiful and spacious. It had everything we needed and then some. My daughter enjoyed the pool as well as using the kayaks to explore. The adults spent most of our time on the huge porch enjoying the water views. The property is very quiet, so if you are looking for a secluded getaway this is the one for you. Communication from the owner was excellent and she was very helpful. Highly recommended and hope to stay here again! »

« Very nice property, we made good use of the dock and were able to launch my 18.5 ft boat from the concrete ramp. Fishing, crabbing, boating were good (though crabs a bit on small side) the cottage was clean, well organized and neat. Everything was really nice and Genevieve was extremely responsive and pleasant to deal with. »

« We had a lovely stay over Thanksgiving while visiting family in the area. The cottage came equipped with everything we needed. The location was so quiet and relaxing - beautiful water views where we could watch sunrise AND sunset ! A prefect retreat ! « I booked 2 nights with my parents and grandparents at the island girl getaway. It was possibly the best beach experience I’ve had yet. Tangier is an incredible island rich with history and certainly worth a visit. We enjoyed the close proximity to the beach and the caretaker, Andy was very helpful and kind. We happened to come to the island when the tides were unusually high occasionally throughout the day, yet I would note that our house seemed to be the only one which had no water near it...

« We loved UpYonda! Erin and Mark are so nice and easy to communicate with. The home is beautiful and there really is everything you need there. The suite upstairs is beautiful and huge!! The view of the water is amazing and the wildlife was stunning. We saw a fox, Blue Heron and got video of an Otter rolling around in the snow on the dock! The stargazing is fantastic and we made a snowman. We loved it. »
