« A warm welcome when I arrived. Despite being on the main road into Torquay, it was very quiet within the b&b promising a good nights rest. Breakfast was very good and set me up for the day. For an evening meal , there were a good selection of restaurants within 15 minutes walk. »

« The familly room we had was nice § large. You can easily walk to downtown. There is a private parking. May be noisy because of the pub downstairs., but it was quiet for us.The mastresses are quite old and not confortable. »

La vue de la chambre comme du restaurant étaient splendides, et le petit déjeuner offrait un choix très varié. En revanche, la chambre était très vieillotte, la porte fermait mal, la fenêtre calfeutrée au scotch… Et la propreté très moyenne: poil dans la douche, dessous du lit pas nettoyé, moquette pas aspirée, couverts pas nickels, projections de peinture...

« Rating based entirely on the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and the fantastic spa facilities. There was work going on while we were there which was a minor inconvenience but the room we stayed in was the real let down. Dated and uncared for. The bathroom was poorly finished and the shower was not the cleanest. The flooring was lifting and squishy in places and the room itself smelt of damp.
