As a long-time Bonvoy member, I’ve come to expect a certain standard from Marriott properties—but unfortunately, my recent stay at the Long Island Marriott fell far below expectations. The room I was assigned was not properly cleaned, which is completely unacceptable. On top of that, there was excessive noise due to ongoing construction that made it nearly impossible to relax or get any rest.
I understand that renovations and maintenance are sometimes necessary, but guests should be informed ahead of time and placed in rooms away from the disruption whenever possible. This experience was disappointing and frustrating, and I sincerely hope Marriott addresses these issues to ensure better service for future stays.
