« We had a calm and peaceful stay, with two good nights of sleep. Room was pretty big. However, this hotel is a bit old fashioned with out of date rooms and style. Didn’t like at all the 6£ tax/person a day, every day, for using the pool and jaccuzzi. That’s not a cheap hotel : it should be included in the room rate. Bit stingy. And annoying. »

« Lovely B&B ideal location from the train station and great view! Hosts are friendly and ideal for my one night stay. Shame I missed out on the breakfast due to an early start! Sea beats restaurant a few doors down was delicious and also very welcoming. »

« Non seulement le patron est très accueillant mais il est très attentionné. Le B&B est très confortable situé à 100 m de la plage dans une rue silencieuse,calme proche du centre ville. On peut utiliser le parking du B&B facilement. Chambre spacieuse avec salle de bain bien équipée et rideaux (ce qui est rare dans les B&B) cachant la lumière pour éviter d'être réveillé en été à 5 h du matin... »

« Very good location, a few minutes' walk from the seafront and 10 minutes' walk from the train station. Quiet area. Comfortable bed. Very clean throughout. Could have done with a chair, instead of the stool, for reading, watching tv, etc. »

« Check-in was simple, despite me arriving about 19.30, keys were sorted quickly and no issues there. However, the only breakfast option was 09.00 which is far too late, I was away before 08.00 both mornings of my stay and so had to arrange breakfast elsewhere. »

« Fantastic place to stay! Very clean and well maintained period property with an interesting history! Our room was also very clean, with a good shower in the en-suite bathroom. There are good tea/coffee making facilities in the room, even a mini-fridge for keeping everything fresh. Everything was replenished daily, even the lovely selection of biscuits! Breakfast was superb and all included in the price. There was good selection of fruit, yogurt and serials plus a fantastic full English breakfast...

« An excellent find - Great well appointed room, very clean and a very comfy bed. Bathroom was very clean and an excellent shower. Little touches like biscuits and chocolate treats were totally unexpected but gratefully received. Staff were very polite and provided an excellent service. The included breakfast was great. Overall 5*. I will certainly stay again when in the area. »
