Private WI River House - Minutes to Wisconsin Dells Attractions

Welcome to River House Retreat! This 3 bedroom, 2 bath cabin sits directly on the Wisconsin River. Set way back off the road and away from any hustle and bustle. The house features a lot of windows facing the river for the beautiful sunsets! There is a fire pit, bags boards, kayaks, small sand beach and more. Bring your own boat and park on the dock. Private dock to use for fishing, swimming or just enjoying the views. If you bring a boat, you can travel all the way to the Dells Dam and back. There are great sandbars to park, swim, fish, grill and have fun. If you like tubing, jetskiing or waterskiing a short boat ride will open up with plenty of space. Bring your fishing poles or we have some you can use. just be respectful. Winter time, bring your cross country skis or snow shoes. There's over 80 acres surrounding the house you can discover. This property will create lasting memories for you and your family! Ask us any questions, we are here to help. Please contact us prior if you are going to bring your own boat. Thank You!

Perfect setting for our Girlfriend Getaway. Nicely located property close to dining, shopping and our spa day destination (Sundara-also exceptional). Perfect Weekend Getaway!
My college friend group and I LOVED this property! It was the perfect place for a weekend getaway. The place was big enough for our whole group and was super modern and nice inside the cabin. We loved that we could go swimming in the river and utilized the kayaks and canoe too! We will definitely be coming back here for our next get together! Highly recommend.

Wonderful property, responsive host
The property was beautiful - on the bank of the Wisconsin River, stunning view, firepit, barbecue, fishing dock, kayaks, canoes, and a sand box for the kiddos. The host, David German was extremely responsive to all requests and the house was spotless. Plenty of room for 5 adults and two children in a very secluded, pristine location. Short drive to the Dells, Noah's Arc and Mr. Pancake, some of our favorite places.

Beautiful, clean, comfortable.
Hands down the cleanest VRBO I’ve ever stayed in. It’s about 10-15 min from downtown wis dells and situated on the river way back from anything else which was perfect for our group. The house is decorated beautifully and the view from the back porch over the river is unbeatable. We heard all kinds of bird calls and even saw an Osprey flying in the area. There was a lot of attention to detail in the house to make the stay really comfortable including really comfortable mattresses and bedding. Would definitely book again if we head back to that area.

Amazing place
Just outside of the Dells this place is a little gem. Secluded, with plenty of space outside and all the amenities needed in or out. Best part is the river and a private dock, which made fishing even better. Thank you for having us!

If we could give 100 stars we would, but we are limited to only 5. Our family had an incredible time staying here. David was a great host and fantastic boat captain. He went over and beyond to accommodate pre-arrival and during our stay. The house had everything you need and more (and the beds were SO comfortable). Thank you to him and his wonderful family. We look forward to visiting and staying again.

Perfect for what we were looking for!
We wanted a quiet and peaceful place close enough to enjoy what Wisconsin Dells had to offer. We were able to wake up early and fish the Wisconsin River, head to a water park mid-day and end the day with S'mores on a campfire. The host, David, was accommodating and friendly. He made sure we had the supplies needed to fish and was determined to ensure my son caught several fish. We like to cook and the kitchen had everything we needed to make enough food for 2 families.

Peaceful Riverside Retreat stay
Don’t hesitate to book! This property is perfect! *Home is clean and beautifully decorated. The space is just the prefect size with everything you need. *Location is just far enough for the parents but not too far for the kids. So everyone is happy! *Owners are so awesome! They were very welcoming and helpful. I honestly felt like I new them because they treat you so well! He helped the kids fish and had so much patience! Fun for all!
This home was very clean and extremely welcoming. The waterfront view is very relaxing, and is exactly what the adults needed. The free kayaks were enjoyed by the kids, and the adults attempted to use them but really showed the kids what not to do on a kayak. The drive to downtown Dells is a short ride away. It was great to be away from everyone in town but so close to enjoy the Dells amenities. We even chose to buy groceries and grill/cook to enjoy the evenings at the house instead of going out to eat. Enjoying all the stars in the night sky while sitting at the firepit was awesome!

Our family had an amazing time at the River House Retreat. The property has plenty of open space and beautiful views of the river and the stars at night. The house was clean and comfortable and felt like home. Everything we needed was there and the owners were very friendly and responsive to our questions. Highly recommend this place for families and groups. It was a perfect set up worh 2 adults and 6 kids. Kids enjoyed fishing and having a fire in the evenings. Very wonderful experience for us!
