« We rented this apartment for a girls weekend in London and it was wonderful! This apartment is very clean and spacious. It is right next to Paddington station and within walking distance of many places that tourists may want to visit. The landlord responded quickly to our questions and addressed the minor issues we had with the place (getting the AC to work). « We loved staying at Nancy’s beautiful treasure of a flat. It was like a museum, in all the best ways. Perfectly furnished and extremely comfortable with everything you would need, the flat is in a historic building that formerly housed an orphanage and school. « Baker Street gleich um die Ecke mit vielen Restaurants. Untergrundbahn- und Busstation ca. 300 Meter entfernt, bis zur Oxford Street ca. 10 bis 15 Minuten zu Fuss. Wohnung ist war sehr sauber, war alles vorhanden (gekocht haben wir nie, kann deshalb nicht beurteilt werden). Bad ist klein, Wohnung liegt im 3. Stock, gibt einige Treppen zu laufen, für uns war das kein Problem. »

« We had an awful experience with our stay. The description of this apartment is far from reality. We had to go up 4 flights with 8 luggages. The apartment was full of spiders, the bathrooms leaking water and extremely small, the bed for my daughter was hard and extremely uncomfortable she could not sleep, there were many lights not working, there was no plugs in the bathroom to do our hair. We left one full day earlier because of this inconvenience. »

« Travel connections to everywhere were convenient from this part of Croydon with tons of options for day to day needs like restaurants and groceries. Note that while it's great to be near so much pedestrian-only shopping and a market atmosphere it does mean your taxi cannot come to the door. You do need to be prepared to move your luggage manually about 80 metres to/from a vehicle.
