Lower Slaughters is the best place in the Cotswolds, and the Country Inn atmosphere and staff have further contributed to our very relaxing stay there. We planned to go for more visits, but decided to seize the moment and stay a full-day enjoying the place to read, rest, do short walks to Bourton-on-the-water or the next door mill »

« We had such an amazing stay and would absolutely love to return. The staff were very friendly and the room was perfect. The breakfast was amazing too, I can’t recommend enough! »

« This is a lovely place, immaculately clean. I would have given 5 stars but sadly it was very noisy due to being next to road, the bed and pillows were also rock hard (that’s just a personal preference liking a softer one!) But location was great, rooms are huge! I would return another time (with my own pillow) »

« A lovely inn in the Cotswolds and close driving distance to many other little towns. Everyone was very friendly and hospitable and the rooms were just as depicted. Would definitely recommend! »

« It was like adream come true. Even though we did not have a car to get around , the owners gave us a contact so we were picked up when we needed it. Otherwise we walked around the most beautiful cottage area, it was peaceful, relaxing and the owners were very enjoyable. The breakfast every morning was very good. »

« Accueil très chaleureux, de plus notre hôtesse parle français. Chambre claire, spacieuse, très confortable. Une vue imprenable sur la campagne anglaise, avec, au premier plan un beau verger. Tout est prévu pour que le séjour soit parfait. Un petit déjeuner à la carte qui s'adapte à toutes les gourmandises. Nous gardons un excellent souvenir de notre hôtesse, de sa gentillesse, sa disponibilité et son art de recevoir ! »

« The cottage and the entire property are beautiful and well maintained. The staff is very courteous and accommodating. The cottage is fully stocked with everything a guest may require. The fridge was stocked with milk, a pack of bacon, a pack of cheese and wine. Fruits and homemade marmalade were also left for us. All very thoughtful and welcoming.
