« The house and property were amazing. My sons and I had a great time in this hidden gem. The house was amazing and cozy. The views of the mountains were fantastic. It snowed while we were there which just added to the beauty of the place. The hosts were amazing and kind. It is a great place that helped us get away from the busy life. « We enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse over Thanksgiving. It was a few miles from my family’s house and easy to get to. They had all we needed and it was very clean. We especially enjoyed watching all the cows in the morning from the porch and right outside the kitchen window. Beautiful mountain views too. Good WiFi connection. Just make sure you screenshot the access code before getting there because there is no service until connected. »

« As soon as you pull in you are greeted by a beautiful willow tree. The property is just amazing, from the trout stream to the house. Oh my, the house, it is picturesque, it should be featured in a magazine. It is the cleanest vacation rental house we have stayed in. A big plus, just a short drive to Watauga lake. The host, Gary, is super friendly. We can’t wait to come back! »

« Overall we had a great time! Communication with the host prior to our trip was great. I had difficulty viewing messages and never received a return call regarding suggestions on parking multiple cars since the driveway is very steep. I was thankful a light was left on downstairs since I arrived late by myself and the solar lights outside had already turned off.
