« Stayed at Apple Tree Corner in Harrogate and we arrived late to a spotlessly clean house that was tastefully furnished with all the amenities we needed. Location is ideal, a 15 mins stroll into the centre of Harrogate. Nice quiet and very private location. Loved that the car was safe and it had FREE parking (had to pay everywhere else in Harrogate). « Came to Harrogate for a few days and this place was perfect. Has everything you need. It’s clean and the host was very very helpful with great communication. Location is easy to get into Harrogate and even in the snow storm I could walk into the centre as the buses were suspended. There’s a shop at the end of the road and the neighbourhood is very quiet. « We were disappointed when we arrived because the house hadn’t been heated. It was 14 degrees and we had to spend the evening in the kitchen with our coats on to keep warm. When we arrived, the bins were overflowing, and bags of rubbish had been piled up along the path. « This cottage is located perfectly. The walk down to the front is about 7/8 mins. There are shops all around and plenty of places to eat. « We informed Host and Stay the day we arrived the toilet down stairs was not working. We called them each day we were there to get resolution. They came to look at the toilet the next day in the afternoon and yet they did not fix the toilet. They made no attempt the remaining 2 days we were there. When we left 2 days later, the toilet had not been fixed. Host and Stay has been non-responsive as to offering us a refund. »
